This is an informal support group for the friends, whanau and carers of those with dementia. We usually invite a guest speaker along but there is an opportunity for you to meet and share experiences with other locals dealing with challenges associated with dementia.

COGNITIVE STIMULATION THERAPY COURSE
This course is for people diagnosed with dementia and is suitable for those in the early to middle stages. It aims to improve concentration, memory and social skills. CST runs over 5 to 6mths. The first 7 weeks the time commitment is 1 hour twice weekly, then 1 hr weekly for 3 to 4 mths.
